What are the implication of theory X and theory Y for motivation practises?
this question is about business management and organization behavior. It means how theory X & Y motivate employee?
A theory x manager would lead through fear and intimidation. The workers would be motivated to follow the directives of the boss to create security and comfort and to keep from being fired.
A theory y manager would be more participative and collaborative allowing the team to be self directed and motivating them by helping them reach their aspirational goals.
